"Within the LICARA research project, TNO developed a structured life-cycle approach for nanomaterials in order to provide faster and greater insight into the effects of nanoproducts on environment, economy, society and health. The approach enables companies to weigh up the risks and benefits of using these products. The project is of particular interest to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs)."
