Posted On: 2019-10-17

Scientists developed a device that can identify a wide range of airborne gases and chemicals instantly. The device uses a small patch made of a special porous and metallic nanomaterial to trap gas molecules. The technology is being commercialized for use in pollution monitoring, chemical disaster response, and industrial applications. The work was conducted at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore (NTU Singapore).
