Concretene uses graphene to improve the mechanical performance of concrete by improving its compressive, tensile and flexural strength and durability. It thus allows for reductions in embodied carbon, the amount of material used, and the need for steel reinforcement. Concretene will be supplying its graphene-enhanced concrete to foundation engineering company Roger Bullivant for pre-cast piling and foundation applications.
