A recent study from CPWR - The Center for Construction Research and Training reviewed safety data sheets (SDSs) for commercially available construction products that claim to use nanomaterials. The majority of these products were paints and coatings, affecting twenty different construction trades. The study found that 38.1% of product SDS did not contain any information on nanomaterial composition, and 70% of safety data sheets were in need of significant improvement.
