NanoSteel's Super Hard Steel® (SHS) cored wires for weld overlay applications are patented steel alloys which provide superior wear performance in extreme service environments for increasing the life of industrial parts and components.

Typical Use:

Applied via Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW) and Open Arc Welding (OAW) as an alternative to chrome carbides, complex carbides and tungsten carbide alloys for wear. SHS 9192 is NanoSteel's best performing cored wire for abrasive wear resistance in extreme service environments. Application examples: Hardfacing for loader buckets, dozer blades and excavator buckets, fan blades and feed screws; Overlay wear plate for rotary vane feeder drums and blower fan blades
