Nanopretreat
Category: Coatings - metal
Description:

Boxer construction chemicals have developed a realistic and feasible solution 'nanopretreat' to remove rust and form a very good corrosion resistant coat on any rusted mild steel. Application can be done on any amount of fabricated steel or rebars used in construction. The coat formed on fabrication steel gives good bonding with any paint / primer. Does not reduce bonding of coated steel with concrete.Following is the point wise SOP (Standard operating Procedure) we undertake to coat your steel on site with our chemical Nanopretreat.

Typical Use:

applied to steel, particularly rebar

Apparent use of Nanotechnology: formation of a nanocomposite surface structure
Reason for Inclusion:

"Presence of complex salts of Vanadium and tungstates in formulation with other Active Ingredients react with iron to build a stable and stout micro crystalline structure or nanocomposite which protects the steel surface from corrosion and increases paintability."
