Category: Insulation - Heat/Frost

SLENTITE® is the first purely polyurethane-based aerogel ever to be produced. The heavy-duty aerogel insulation panel, which consists of around 90 percent air and is breathable, permits insulation up to 50 percent slimmer than conventional materials.

Typical Use:

Renovation of old and existing buildings as well as for modern architecture and new buildings. Ideally suitable for radiator recesses, confined installation spaces between windows and walls, and complete walls.

Apparent use of Nanotechnology: polyurethane-based nanostructured material (50 to 100 nm pores)
Reason for Inclusion:

"By drying a gel a novel mechanically stable organic aerogel is produced which has tiny air-filled but nonetheless open pores measuring only 50 to 100 nanometers in size." -Retrieved 12/9/2020 from
