Cationic emulsion CSS-1 or CSS-1H can be modified with Zydex micro surfacing asphalt additives that can be added in to the water tank, during the mix preparation in order to extend the life of the pavement. NanoTac offers excellent bond strength & delivers water resistant mixes for micro surfacing. These additives impart rapid setting to the bitumen emulsion, saving the time required for micro surfacing asphalt paving with reduced stickiness on the equipment surfaces. It improves the flow as well as the spray quality of the bitumen emulsion used for micro surfacing along with a substantial increase in the bond strength.
