Category: Insulation - Heat/Frost

Spaceloft® aerogel blanket insulation has been the super-insulation material of choice to address heat loss in space challenged environments. Spaceloft® has the lowest thermal conductivity of any durable thermal insulation available today.

Typical Use:
  • Walls (internal & external)
  • Floors
  • Ceilings, Dormers and Pitched Roofs
  • Terrace & Balcony
  • Gutter & Soffit
  • Window, door and fenestration inserts
  • Point, repeating & linear thermal bridging treatment
  • Services, ducts, hot water pipework
Apparent use of Nanotechnology: nanopores
Reason for Inclusion:

"The solids in silica aerogels are poor conductors, consist of very small, three-dimensional, intertwined clusters that comprise only 3% of the volume. Conduction through the solid is therefore very low. The remaining 97% of the volume of aerogels is composed of air in extremely small nanopores." -Retrieved 12/9/2020 from
